Cold-rolled (CR) steel strips are generally used in FCW production. CR steels are preferred for their structural homogeneity and excellent ductility, which allows shape forming during tube forming without cracking. Some specialty wire types also use high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steels. CHY Steel can supply all these materials from stock.
